Motoguy's Garage ECU Core Policy

Please take a minute to carefully read through and make sure you fully understand our ECU Core Policy BEFORE sending your core back to Motoguy's Garage. Once a core has been mailed to us, it becomes the property of Motoguy's Garage and is subject to the following conditions.

100% of the core deposit will be refunded promptly upon our receiving your ECU core UNLESS any of the following have occurred, in which instance - only 25% of the original deposit amount will be refunded:

  1. The ECU core returned is not a compatible part number/application for the ECU purchased.
  2. The circuit board has been extensively damaged beyond repair by physical abuse, mishandling, or component explosion.
  3. The white plastic connector has been damaged due to improper removal of the yellow vehicle harness plugs.
  4. The ECU core has been returned after 30 days since receiving the new ECU.
  5. The ECU Core Return Form has not been completed or returned with the ECU core.
  6. The ECU is determined to be not repairable by one of our technicians due to damage to irreplaceable integrated circuits.
