Motoguy's Garage 12 Month Limited Warranty Details
Motoguy's Garage warrants to the original purchaser of the Engine Control Unit (ECU) that the purchased unit be free of defects in workmanship for a period of 12 months beginning with the date the item is received as verified by the tracking information provided by the shipping company. This warranty does not cover any Engine Control Unit (ECU) that is used for commercial, modified or racing vehicles.
Warranty is solely limited to the work originally performed by Motoguy's Garage and does not include any Engine Control Unit (ECU) components and/or parts which were not directly repaired, replaced or otherwise inspected by Motoguy's Garage. All electrical systems and related components on the vehicle must be inspected, repaired and/or replaced as necessary prior to the installation of the Engine Control Unit (ECU). Damage caused by faulty relays, sensors, electrical shorts and/or malfunctioning electrical systems and related components is not covered under warranty. Motoguy's Garage does not warranty the proper or improper installation and/or application of the purchased Engine Control Unit (ECU) and/or the competence and/or diagnosis of the installer.
Motoguy's Garage assumes no liability and will not pay for labor, damage, rental car, hotel, towing claims, etc. arising from the installation or use of the above mentioned Engine Control Unit (ECU). Also, due to the complexity of emission control systems, Motoguy's Garage does not warranty the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to pass emission control inspection solely on their own merit. This warranty does not apply to any defects caused by misuse, collisions or other accidents, negligence or unreasonable use including, but not limited to, improper application and installation.
Motoguy's Garage reserves the right to make changes, modifications, or improvements in these products without incurring any obligation to similarly alter, modify, or improve products previously purchased.
Engine Control Units (ECUs) will only be re-tested, and/or remanufactured under warranty with approval from Motoguy's Garage. The customer must first call or email Motoguy's Garage with any problems or issues before removing the unit(s). A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be required to return the product(s) to Motoguy's Garage for warranty work. All Engine Control Units (ECUs) must be returned to Motoguy's Garage for warranty work.
No refunds or credits will be given at any time.
Any tamper seal found to be broken will automatically void the 12 month warranty.
